Red 9 I have started London from GFA start and it is still congested, from what I saw Sunday (I started red pen) of those who got the elite start they definately gained benefit of clear streets. On the plus side for London there are far more people running at the pace you are looking to run, so if you run better in a group it may be better. Personally If I was looking to get a pb I'd not consider London.

Great effort Toby, knew you would be well inside the 4 hrs from the mileage you had put in during training.

Well done everyone else.

Windy & HOT now sporting a bright red forehead!

3hrs 42min 52s not earth shattering but given my last 2 years was really happy to be under 3.45.

Great organisation, great support, good goodie bag & t shirt. I won't be returning though as I found the back & fro's and passing the finish of the course mental torture.

speedwork for me tonight, think it'll be very short recovery breaks to avoid standing around in the cold for too long.

slow 20 miles yesterday. not a particularly inspiring run, just ran 10 miles away from home & then turned round and ran 10 miles back home. first 10 straight into the wind. hoped for a bit of help from a tailwind coming home but didn't seem nearly as strong when it was behind me, how does that happen??

Had a very long day yesterday visiting London taking Mrs. GB to a show & meal. Got back late only to find youngest daughter who had been on a schooltrip wasn't being dropped loally but 1/2 hrs drive away. So having finally got to bed at 2am my 8 miler this morning was delayed until 11am even then I'm sure I was asleep most of it. Fortunately I had the foresight to book today off.

Silverstone half for me this Sunday.
