Thanks LS21!

I will make sure I set my alarm early on the 22nd. I did a golden bond place once, the charity were great ( CLDF) but raising the money was very difficult. Decided I would just enter the ballot every year until I got in again.

I use to say in the marriot on george street near marbled arch nice to runners ( let me come back for a shower afterwards even though I had checked out ). I think you can use tescos clubcard points to pay .

MK Marathon 2014

I would question if the introduction of a half would create more interest bearing in mind the festival of running in march has a half and there is the NSPCC half in July . saying that if you are a HM runner in mk you wont have far to travel to race regularly

some people received their mags on the 26th of September last year , so we should know in about 4 weeks . Bring on the results threads , love reading them every year until I receive my commiserations mag.

Left it too late :0( - Can I run/walk?

if you find a sensible realistic training plan and stick to it you may find you do better than you thought on the day . keep a diary of each training session so you can look back and remind yourself of your progress and motivate yourself to keep training . you can do it by walking /running !

Good luck!

Lady needs your help in choosing a safe route

just to add to all the good advice above , I always use to plan routes that passed friends houses so I was never far from a safe place. I did also try using gympse app on my phone. it meant I could go out for along run and my partnercould use email to check where I was , I could also ssend messages ( get help or call police for example) quickly with one touch . I dont use it now as it requires the other person to know you are going out and be checking their email regulary .
