London Marathon 2015 - 4hrs 22 mins 00 secs

Posted: 24/11/2014 at 21:27
Zoe, very pragmatic and it kinda worked for me in September. I would like to try and run faster this time, hence thinking of proper plan. I have the FIRST programme book now - 3 runs per week, but the're all pretty hard core.
Stylish I don't blame you for reservations about 5 per week - seems there's no time for much else

so maybe it's not the literary peak but still better than e.g. 'It's Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday'...

Are you guys now following a specific plan? I'm back after a major lurgy that messed up with my plan to build a base before Xmas. I am looking for some sensible plans, but most ask me to run around 5 x per week, and whilst I'm sure it's fine I'd like to keep my weights and cross training in as well so looking for something with 3 runs per week.

Well done on high place in Parkrun Stylish!

I've been down with a bug no running this weekend

I can relate to Garmin issue - lost my heart monitor and rather that getting a replacement am being tempted by FR620.

Still v. expensive though.

Thank you first time under 25 min. (Nearly puked, mind...)

I think it's due to earlier marathon training.

R-2-n: sounds good, especially as you manage to fit in cycling/spin as well - I do a bit of swimming but spin is just so hard to fit in as well.

Hill1: 6 months is plenty of time to take it slowly but purposefully Is this your first?
