Afternoon all, weather here in Edinburgh is changeable to say the least, slowing down for the Edinburgh half in a couple of weeks time, looking for 1-45. I believe it is quite a fast course. Was really keen to CW but new job meant no chance. Off to Oldshoremore for a weeks holiday in Sept, so hopefully manage a few runs.

Great Effort Susie. Sounds like you had a blast

Famous people you have seen running

Tom Kitchin (chef, been on Masterchef etc) can often been seen pounding the cycle paths  near me. Not sure if he is counted as 'famous' though

Does anyone else NOT want to run a marathon?!

I have completed two half marathons this year with two more to come. I am fairly new to running (circa 1 1/2 years) and I can honestly say I have no intention of ever running a marathon

Morning all. Anyone know the date/time of the Nairn half marathon in August? Planning to visit family in Nairn and thought I could hopefully do this at the same time.

Late to this thread. Would like to lose 1 stone, currently run 2 half marathons this year with two more to come at end of May and August. Currently 14st 6 lbs.

Good Luck everyone.

Hi All, just finished the edinburgh Rock N Roll half in 1:53 (unofficial)

Weather conditions terrible, rain and wind, not nice. Very happy with the time though.

Thanks for all the support and advise

Thanks everyone, flat course but still pleased. Would have been happy with anything under 2 hours. Managed a six mile run on Wednesday and the legs are feeling ok.

Congratulations to everyone who ran half marathons at the weekend and to anyone who managed a PB.

All the best to anyone who is running at the weekend. Now to get back to putting the miles in for the Edinburgh Rock N Roll half in April
