Could have reversed the course so that bastard wind was behind us though...

No Mennannia, I had a SHOCKER!  A personal worst for me, developed shin splints since (I know, I am a twat) changing my trainers from usual Brooks and they were agony yesterday, so I ran at pace for 6-7 miles and had to admit defeat and stop, stretch out, rest them for a bit then waited for a friend who was pacing in 2hr.  So jogged final half and really enjoyed the race!

Hi all.  Just to say re baggage at Helsby today, as one of the runners who helped to sort it out, it was NOTHING like Manchester fiasco, it was a cock up re runners being allowed to come in and get their bags and then labels fell off and bags mixed up.  This isn't a profit race, it is organised by people like you and me and some people were incredibly rude today.  Yes, lessons learned but believe me, everyone tried their best. Well done everyone.  Mennania, saw you in bog queue but didn't want to intrude!

15 - you started warm weather training?

Hello chick, Happy New Year to you too. Sorry to hear you we're injured, all ok now?  I've given up with X times/goals, I'm just running everything by feel at mo, when I do my 16 with 10 at pace, I will start MR pace at my PB pace and aim to ramp up.

Thanks Lit.

I have lent my book to a friend.  I am having to badger people to post the bloody plan.  I don't suppose someone has scans or the 33-55/18 plan?

Oh, I am just sat with diary out, filling it in.  I am chuffed that it now works out that Helsby Half, coincides with recovery week and a 12 miler is scheduled for the long run.

As long as you don't have a massive twat, Lit, that's ok.

See you there Men!  I am not in PB shape.
