MG1,

Thanks.  That's part of the problem I'm terrible with the cleaning then decide to do everything at once.

Stuart,

Thanks.

Well done guys.

No running from me today as I pulled something in my shoulder/back yesterday while I was doing some cleaning.  I'm hoping it eases off so I can get out on Tuesday.

Well done guys.

------

Thanks.  It's just as well we've got an immersion heater for hot water, otherwise we would have been shouting weeks ago (the boiler packed up early July).

Well done guys.

Thanks.  My knee is slightly better, although it's not being helped by having no heating in the flat since the boiler has packed up & we're still waiting for the landlady to fix it.  The letting agents are on the case though.  So if it does warm up that's going to be great.

Well done guys.

NP,

If I'd got my running shoes on I'd have been happy to keep up with Chris.  Unfortunately the wet weather we've been having is affecting my knee a bit at the mo.

Well done guys.

------

Thanks.

We did enjoy the film, I didn't have my runners with me and I was feeling the effects of my 4 mile earlier on in the day coupled with the rain.

Londonrunner & Dansky,

Welcome to the thread.

---------

The cinema trip into Portsmouth was stressful!  We parked up at the park & ride and the buses were running late (we found this out after I'd paid for parking) so Chris decided to drive in & we couldn't park at the cinema as completely full.  He managed to get a parking space near the train station & we got the train to Portsmouth Harbour (£2.50 for a 4 min train ride).  There was a mad dash to the cinema (Chris' first run since doing VLM ) only to find out when we got there that the film didn't start until 3.30 (we were thinking it was 3).  So we ended up in plenty of time in the end and even had time to go into Whittards as they were open until 8pm.

MG1,

Well done.  We've got the heavy rain now.

Did just over 4 miles in light(ish) rain & off to the cinema this afternoon so a perfect activity given the heavy rain we're due to get.

MG7 & Stewart,

Thanks.  It did go reasonably well apart from the rain.
