Hi,what half marathon time do I need to get to get an automatic entry?
I'm planning a few this year.
Is it sub-1 hr 30?
I'm a 22 year old female.
Cheers.

Hi all, yeah, pleased with my time,a PB in fact.
3:46:08.Did the second half of the race 12 minutes quicker than the first half,so i've achieved one of my goals of getting a negative split.
Hope everyone is ok :-)

It looks pretty flat all in all and it's meant to be a really nice route.
I'll be sure to let you know.

Thanks guys.A more sober day today, only had 2 pints of Guiness. It's just so tasty.Went to the Guiness factory,it's really good.Going to register tomorrow morning, quite excited really.
Early night tonight and tomorrow and i'll be raring to go on Monday.I've got no time in mind,i'm just going to enjoy it and soak up the atmosphere (and the rain by the looks of it).
Good luck in Pembrey those of you doing it and speak to you all soon :-)

WP,I totally agree with the other guys,a PB is a PB,whether it be 1 second off or an hour off.

Marathons are so much to do with luck.I mean, everything can go perfectly well right up until the last minute but if you get struck down with a cold the night before your chances are over.Or if you get up on the morning not quite feeling 100% then that could cost you 30 minutes in the race.

Just put it down to experience. And my bet is you'll be putting your name down for another one before you know it.

Talking about Torfaen,i'm chief cheerleader on Sunday so keep an eye out for me!
