Asics GEL-KAYANO 17

Overall: They look great, which is prob why so many people buy Asics. But they don't feel as good as Mizuno shoes in either fit or response and you can never find them for a price they are worth. I guess being popular has really put the 'ass' in the asics brand.

Nike Lunarglide+ 4

Overall: Okay, if you aren't aware of any proper running brands, but Nike is all about being all things to all men, so they dilute their brand with fashion and other sports. Result is a shoe that looks good and you can customise colours, but doesn't offer what majority of runners need. Only good for neutral runners.

Overall: Great shoes; comfortable and affordable

Mizuno Mizuno Wave Rider 16

Overall: I have biggish feet (size 13 in running shoes) and weigh 15 stone. I've been swapping between saucony, brooks and nike for the past few years, admittedly maybe in a size too small? However since getting these, running has become more pleasurable again. The cushioning is fab, ventilation full on and they feel really well made. The last time I had something so nice was about 5 years ago when I had a basic pair of Asics.
I'm converted, for now!

Overall: Good cushioning for long distance running very light and comfy shoe. Worth trying if you are frustrated and cannot shake off any heal complaints or Achilles tendinitis. They worked for me. I'm back running following 2 years of frustration. I hope I will be able to give more positive feedback once I have run a half and full marathon.

Overall: Very good

Adidas Adizero Tempo 5

Overall: I love these shoes! I changed the insole for a sorbathane insole, the extra cushioning is great. I'm more than happy to wear these shoes for everyday training and from 5k to marathon! The forefoot cushioning gives me just the right balance of cushioning and firmness for comfort and responsiveness.

Overall: Great shoe with build quality easily as good as any other brand on the market, but can be found discounted.

Adidas Adizero Adios 2

Overall: My first pair of racing flats, I much prefer the low heel drop and little amount of cushioning on the heel, suits my running style very well, and I don't lift my feet very high off the ground, wore these in my debut marathon, which I completed in 2.53 and they performed amazingly.

Super lightweight yet at no point did I wish I had more cushioning, so perfect!

I also race 5k Parkruns in these, and the light weight makes it feel like you're flying along, hardly notice you're wearing them!

Mizuno Wave Inspire 8

Overall: Shoe technology may change and sometimes improve. However, until genuinely better and more suitable shoes are found, these will keep me running without problems.
