No promises!  But I can certainly make some enquiries if Mick would like me to.

Mick n Phil Story

You are an inspiration, your story is truly humbling and puts many people's life "issues" into perspective.  I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you guys yet, but I will certainly look out for you in the future!

I have signed the petition and forwarded it onto my email contacts asking them to do the same.  I have also fired off an email (politely worded, of course!) to David B.

Have you ever thought of doing a tv documentary about yourselves?  I have some contacts who may be able to assist if you're interested, just PM me and let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Best wishes, keep on plodding.

Thong for me too - but I wear them all the time anyway so don't have the "nakedness" problem, lol! Although they have to have nice soft elastic for running - I never understand why knicker manufacturers put really stiff, horrible elastic round the leg holes of knickers, stupid people!

Deep tissue sports massage

I know when my piriformis was tight and the physio did trigger point on it, it made me cry, it was incredibly painful! But the physio was good looking so it wasn't all bad.

I have regular sports massage on my back and shoulders, that hurts a bit when it's tight but it's not all that bad. Just makes me wince and hold my breath a bit!

Running and yoga

I find yoga really beneficial to my core strength. I love the classes, don't go now as often as I used to and I miss it. Not sure about going on your day off, but I think it would be beneficial overall.

I use the gym, but only because my husband is in the RAF so I get to use the gym on camp for free! Not sure I would if I had to pay monthly, there's always periods where I am too busy to go so it would be false economy.

Plus because it's an RAF facility, you don't get the silly types of women described above - in fact quite often I'm the only girl in there and get to ogle the fit blokes, hee hee! ;-)

Broken 2nd toe pretty sure -

I'd say 6-8 weeks, it was about that when I broke my big toe.

Are you sure you should be driving? Not sure your insurance would be valid....

Says she who drove herself to and from A&E with a broken big toe....

Pssst...I managed by pressing the clutch with the outside edge of my foot! :)

Vegetarian runner

I think "runner" might be a bit of a generous term for me, but I could call myself a vegetarian plodder, I suppose.

I don't think it makes much difference whether you eat meat or not, as long as you get enough protein & iron from other sources.
