First of all: Well Done spen 71 for resurrecting this thread & Thank You.

I'm currently not running, so I have no idea about the year ahead. However, I would like to wish everyone Good Luck with their hopes, aspirations & plans.

I have some but little experience with ultras so it's Hats off to spen71, T Rex & Drunken Euphoria.

Any idea when the BGR might be spen71.

Trudie, I can't offer any advice about the adhesive baseplate but I wonder if you might get any help on the Health & Injury forum. Good Luck.

Thanks for the reply seren nos & a Huge Well Done from me. I'm sure there are many superb stories to be told in both of the races. I would love to be able to complete the 50 & I can't imagine what preparation is needed for the 100.

Harry Johnson & others are truly positive signs of what can be done. I do wonder what their running history is like.

Swollen & tight knees

Yeh thanks booktrunk. She did walk today & has iced them a couple of times. Crouching presents as a problem for her. Feeling a bit better today but looking for advice if anyone has had similar experience.
