Hi Warkie thanks for responding. My longest run was 22 and I had been feeling strong following a sub four hour training programme so implemented it with tempo and interval sessions and also some core stability work. I injured my sacroilliac joint during tapering week when making a bed!! Resulting in lack of mobility and struggling to walk let alone run. Chiropractor said just freaky accident which could have happened anytime just a misfortune it happened in the week before the marathon.
Am seeing chiro again tomorrow and the pain seems to be subsiding somewhat so was thinking of trying to recup this week and then start next week which gives me 7 weeks to prepare for Liverpool. Just unsure as to where to start?
