I've just started running again after a break of more than 3 years (emigrated to India, had 2 kids and a slipped disc in my back!) I used to run a lot and did the London Marathon in 2003.
I'm now getting much fitter, my back is OK and I'm doing regular walking, swimming and Pilates on top of the running. I'm currently a few weeks into a jog/walk schedule that I downloaded off this site.
I'd like to enter the Singapore Half Marathon in early December 2007 and had set myself that as a goal, but having just received the email inviting me to sign up I'm worried that it's too late and I haven't left myself enough time to train for that distance. Should I enter the 10k instead? Will I be able to get fit and do a half without injuring myself? I would love to do it, the half was always my favourite distance!
Any advice welcome!
