Down down, deeper and down!

I got drawn out a couple of years ago Gaz but gave the place back as i fell over and hurt my ribs.  I could have taken the place and deferred it but thought it better to let someone else have it.  You can do that with guaranteed places if you pull out before the registration deadline.  When i say let someone else have it i don't mean i passed it on,  It goes back to the person organizing it here.

I have a place in London Cinders.  Members of my running club help at the finish line every year.  The finish team get 30 guaranteed places.  There were 70 names in the hat and i came out 14th.  About 5 or 6 others from my club also got places.

Er, not me LWJ, had a nice lay in

No one says you have to get up early to run.  You could always go after your lay in.

Good afternoon.  Did we all have a little run this morning?

Mind you, 6 months later I did the Wokingham half in same weather conditions and got my worse time ever.  The only reason i managed to finish then was because the sweep vehicle was right behind me for the last 4 miles.

I did the Benidorm half a few years ago in bad weather.  We were drenched even before the race started.  That's when i got my last PB.  My feet were so cold and numb i couldn't feel the pain of running faster.

I was agreeing to your comment about pushing myself

I know what you were agreeing to RIPP, doing a 2k.  You'll need a training plan for that so you get the tapering right..
