Iv entered now the problem been sorted. I did mansfield and i had to walk between 10 and 11 begging other runners for sugar as i felt light headed and wanting sugar. A women gave me some of her lucazade. It was far to hot. I was going do a long run on the monday in prep for robinhood but decided to do this as my long run instead then i not talk my self out of it. That means a half in june, aug, sept and oct. Im then having a year off just doing 10km. Body ready for a break.

he has blue specs. He gets 2.5 hours a week in group situation. Half hour session of toe to toe book. They let him write it onto a white board then they write it onto paper for him. They now learnt that he needs visual but i told them that 3 years ago when he went to the school, but i know nothing. Iv asked for ed psyche and got told whats the point as me and school know josh the best and what he needs not a stranger. His dyslexia test was me fighting for bursery grant due to low income.

They say they do their own assesments continusly through the year. They say they are teaching him ways to get round his barrier in life. I feel a spare part as im told so little.

read the break down 1-4 +very high risk. of dysslexia. 5-11 high risk.

Theo ther bit saysa child of josh age should get at leasdt 55 to be very poor. 4 visual sequence he got 37 which is why its a negative number as it wasnt recordable.

Its confusing me.

I think iv seen it but understand it is another thing. Professionals all stick together as they all work for the goverment. im hoping senior school will be a better experience for him

thanks. It been a year since the dr refered me to peadatrition and in that year i have seen her three times, first time her occusing me of being a bad mum, 2nd time school report backing what i say and verbal diagnosis and this week to give josh history. I have seen speech therapist to do the same as well this week. Been told it could be another 18months. School have given up and said he got a barrier and he never be able to read and write very well so teach him ways to overcome this. They said it all has to be visual. i feel they have given up on him.

I proud of him reacing key stage one this year as we was still working towards it last year.  Iv spoke to 3 senco senior teachers now. they all seem willing but what happen when he gets there who knows as the school he at is outstanding occurding to ofstead.

Visual disrcimination 5 well below av

visual memory  9 below average

visual sequentioal memory 37 average blending words and non word repetion <1

the one by the dyslexia association in nottingham. He cant read write, do maths at 10. We have hit key stage one at long last occurding to his report. He gets level one msg. This report lays out the issues in nov 08. He currently having caf report done which i should get in september by the school. He needs visual to do oat. At the moment they are still investigating and until they know what they believe they are dealing with they not said oat. Im sick of the process as its been a year already. School are trying to help him over come his barriers in learning by teaching him visual ways to do it. He has to tell the sentence try and write it on white board the teacher will write it onto paper. They get him to try.

Im really confused with it all and its getting me down. Iv had 2months off running trying sort it but my dr told me i got start again, so went out sat and going tonight. I need me time again

We have parent partnership and i rang them about a list but told me just keep ringing and asking as no list. They have though given me a sheet with questions i should be asking.

He has sever dyslexia. he in year 5 and not pass key stage one yet in national curriculum. Im waiting on diagnosis for possible fine motor skills dyspraxia, aspergus and adhd. We been going through this process a year now and im now at stand still till next term when they get into schools again.

Iv been told he will need a longer transfer time. He still cant read the time, months or dates so how he read a time table I dont know. His short term memory is none existent. Im really scared for him.

Any advice is more than welcome as it sometimes ghets to me and i break down as i feel a failure.
