bad run

Last night i did my first bad run at running club. I never completed it and walked back to base after 5.5miles. I couldnt have looked great as took one look at me when got back to base and got someone to get me water and another person offered to drive me home.

My hamstring was killing which slowed me down. Iv been told by my physio its my bum muscle causing the pain as its lazy and got exercises to do. I felt as sick as owt for at least 2 hours afterwards. I use my massage roller when got home.

Today just woken up and feel really low and meant go for run before got to hot and im currently still in my pj. how you meant pick self up. just think wanted to get my low mood off my chest. keep trying remind myself how well i did in 10km race on fri but not seemed to be working.

I didn't notice any rubbing or anything while out. First I realised was in shower when water hit me. I'm only b cup so don't get much bounce anyway. Lol. Got race Fri so if cleared up I give it another try and still bad it can go back.

IV spoke to them she said let it clear up try again with Vaseline and still happens bring it back. Been a week nearly and still not cleared up.

IV never been as fast as you but I had 20months off and its taken me 8 weeks to get my base fitness to what I say is average but know I can improve. I'm looking at half end Sept, kilomarathon end of Oct then spring full bring either London or Edinburgh. So stay positive listen to your body and U b ok.

I thought it was high especially when those who don't work gets it much cheaper. I took my place when offer of ??25 was on. Its my local half so no travel for me. Warm up for London kilomarathon.

Windows phone. Well told my sister want do less than 2.20 but b very happy with 215. then go for it next year when I will if had training fir spring full under my belt.

I'm running in between to when I can get out but a six week holiday don't help. Got 10km race next week. Ran 3 times this week so far unfortunately one was to hospital as my dad had come off bike. So that was 8min mile run to be with him. Got kilomarathon in Oct to.
By sound of it then case of just get round course this year and look to do it next year

It is painfull and dont help that my son wants hugs all the time and keeps knocking it.

iv been doing speed work when go sweat shop running community but as of tomz im planning work out how long i can go fast for then recover over 10km distance. knocking 5 min in two weeks i must be doing something right but not sure what. I also seem run faster when got people to chase than being on my own as have a focus.

Iv never had a training plan except the one i make up my self which is short run mon at running club monday long run every 2 weeks and whatever training i can get in as personal life hectic and making sure got child care etc. i need to get a plan if im going run spring marathon though

who doing or is they another thread started with this on someone can link me to. Im really looking forward to this race after missing it last year due to a promise i made to my son. I was though at the finish line cheering people on.
