Lop A Long


About me:My other sport is horse riding, this is my first & favourite, running only came about as a bit of a mad/daft idea. I entered the Bristol half marathon 2006 and ran for the Penny Brohn charity in Bristol. Apart from a 5k this was my only run and I just wanted to see if I could do it and I raised about �600 for them. My aims were to finish standing and not be last!!!!! I accomplished both of these and was well chuffed. 2007 training was a bit hit and miss with various little problems stopping me from getting goin properly ie cracked ribs, colds, no will power etc etc etc. This year thought I would do better and entered BUT didn't take part in Bath half marathon in March, SO have entered 10k in Bristol in May and Bristol half marathon in Sept. I am looking to enter another half marathon before Sept 'cos my husband won't be here in Sept to see me crawl over finish line. So watch this space !!!!
