Madmans Return

About me:I have a route in my head and will step out for the cold and wet Why did I come out I shiver and get goose bumps Run for a little and feel out of breathe and wet No rhythm no control I push a bit further and check my watch at 1 miles it lifts my spirit and I realise I now have a steady pace I look strong and am enjoying the jog the music on the mp3 matches the mood and I am warmed up to take on any distance any hills any weather I visualise the next race I have and I can see the finish line I can feel the course the markers and the competition I imagine the buzz of the finish the crowds but most of all the emotion that swims through your body as you reach the line Before I realise I have completed a 10 miles run and am greeted back home by looks of madness and questions of why from the family Usually found training at Saturday Park runs or out in the rain and snow
