New Forest 10

I'll be there!

Did it 2 years ago and remeber it being gently undulating. Apparently in past years when it's been really hot there have been firemen on route to hose you down. Can't wait!

Is anyone doing this? I've entered and would love some idea of how flat/undualting the course might be. The route map isn't very informative.  Would also be good to know how popular it's likely to be.  See you there??

Hi Old Colin, looks an interesting route and squelching through the mud can be fun! Are the undulations gentle or mountainous? I have an unhealthy fear of hills - nothing to do with being lazy and unfit of course!

Thanks Sara, I shouldn't generalise. And so what if I'm last? (average HM 2.20) Someone's got to be! And I'll get a bigger cheer than if I'm just somewhere near the back! OK, talked myself into it........

I'm thinking about it. it'll make a pleasant change to the crush of the Bath Half. Only concern is that it'll be all fast club runners and I really don't want to be last!! Any other slowbee's running?

You collect numbers and chips on the day - or so the web site says. Course is 'gently undulating' - according to the web site, can't confirm as I've never run it before.

Looking at the website there's not many registered yet. Hopefully a few more slowbee's are among them - it's always nice to have company when the rest of you disappear over the horizon!

I'll be there, not a local lass but got family nearby.

Any tips as I've not done this one before? Just ran the New Forest 10 so Harlow has a lot to live up to!
