Most on here have loads of experience but there may be some bits in the following to help
Quadzilla Day 1 Time 4.28 New inside first mile was going to be a tough day but instead of accepting it tried to push on Result cramp tired and very tired at the end
Day 2 Time 4.28 Started slower HR lower pushed in the last mile to beat day 1 run which I did. Finish felt a lot better
Day 3 Time 4.38 Slow plod but fairly constant pace as wanted to enjoy marathon number 50 Tired at the end but overall OK
Day 4 Time 4.31 Hurty foot at the start so run walk from the start using 25/5 for first 2 hours. Reached the half marathon in 2.20 and for whatever reason felt less painful running than walking so ran most of the 2nd half for a big negative split, Fastest lap (3.65 miles) the last one!
All 4 within 10 minutes of one another but the best result without doubt the last one. I figure 3 minutes slower than day 1 with an extra 75 miles in the leg has to mean I got it right
Learning Set a target DONT bank time if your feeling good hold back. If for whatever reason its just 1 of those days accept it and just enjoy the company/views.
