hello all

As some of you know this March I do another crazy THING  This time its 7 marathons in 7 days. Normally I don't do charity runs but this time I have decided to support the Hospice that looked after my Mum. If you could daonate anything would be very grateful https://www.justgiving.com/MartinNeal7marathonsin7days/l

Thanks

Ikle You know its off road right: Used to be the sister run to Comrades as same length. Depends what you want to achieve if sub 4 is still most important stay with marathons Ultras make you slower but stronger

Not posted but now complete can come clean 31 days 31 runs Shortest 1 mile longest 13.1 but seemed like a good challenge getting ready for March. Lost a bit og weight as well.

Hell all

Susan REST is what you would tell us all

IKLE sounds horrid hope things get better

Howard take care

On Holiday this week so having a practice for my 7 in 7 only this week doing 45 minutes a day. Day 3 complete and so far so good. Have learned some stuff like start Slooooooooow First mile as a walm up really helps then listen to your body. The nice surprise is each day gone further and recover quickly.

First marathon of the year next Sunday round those Bl@@dy lakes but its close and loads of other nutters there. In fact think Wendy is doing Thursday & Friday!

Hello all

Hope all had a good Christmas and new year

IKLE c2c will be gross this year. Cant say I will miss it. At least the canal should be slightly better

Trying something different with March my target month this year, Running every day in January which never done before. Everything from a 10mm and that's it through to 40 minute 5 miler enjoying the varity and seems to be working especially on hills which Ive always been weak on

Hello again

Sorry to have taken a while to get back.

Well day 13 of running every day done and now a bit confused. As per your last answer been going nice and steady on longer runs and then giving it a go at park run Saturday.

The good news is sure Im getting fitter longest run so far today a nice steady 13 in 2 hours including a walk break in the middle for food/drink. Legs feel fine this PM

BUT

Im tired going to bed at 9 every day feeling shattered but fine in the morning.? Shortest run has been a mile twice.

I should no what Im doing after 10 years but 7 in 7 is a whole new challenge.  Also didn't ask your view about my time targets. I am usually around 4 hours for a marathon so have set my target as all sub 5. Does that seem sensible.?

Thanks
