Hello all

IKLE that's a chame

ABC race going to see if I can be better at that. C2C hope to run with someone who is quicker than me for the marathon but his first ultra. target 9 hours for the 45 which on paper could be a 4.30 marathon and a long walk but want to try and be as close to 5 miles an hour as possible

Hello chunkytfg Love it get warned off the ultra crowd and you already are!! There are some great people on here who will help to many have popped in over the years and never come back because a lot of us have been around for years but stay and we will help

Susan Sounds positive

Nice one Howard

Me just ticking along until Christmas now work is very tough and doing lots of hours have made a decision to just go with it until January 1st then the PROPER training starts with c2c ultra 45 on 17th Jan as first big test, Will either be OK and give me a boost or a distaster giving me a good kick so either way will help.

Fido quadzilla only thing booked. Have made a decision not to enter anything after may it's starting to feel real. Despite what I have done this year still feeels I have a lot to do top of that list is loose a stone. Because of job starts on 1st January

Re slower pace really enjoting run/walk 25/5 as that's where I will start . Entered charnwood marathon next march as a LDWA event and will start with the walkers who start an hour early. Will wait until runnrs catch me then start running intresting !

Martin Sorry if I got it wrong but when you start talking about hills only one thing I can think of

FIDO looks like you are on your own. Your marathon plan looks good to me. If you want any other slow marathon training runs the last finishers at FOXYs events are always around 6 hours and places still some up very close to the date. Would be good to see you at the quadzilla where I will be looking using every day for 25/5 practice so something around 5 hours.

No running since Tuesday for me really bad cold and feeling very tired think reatail at Christmas and the last month just caught up with me. but as long as I watch what I eat! a week or so off will do no harm maybe even some good

Hello all hope training is going well. Just on the off chance wonder if anyone has entered county to capital 45 ? My target for tp is finish using 25/5 from the start which will use for above looking for a finish at c2c of around 9 hours

Hope all had gone well Susan

Fido I suspect FRC may be heading back. I know I wish I was but a little busy next year!

Howard very impressive

Had a couple of runs at my new 25/5 run walk. Seems ok and definitely better than trying to run slower. For those who dont know added county to capital 45 to my list with the intention of doing at least the marathon distance using the above then see how it goes
