yay, well done amandax

intended to run this evening, but got home shattered from work and didn't go, only to regret it because the kids are just being a pain! Wish they were young enough to send to bed already!

chugs - have a good trip. You won't be surprised to know that he pre-ordered a roast dinner for tomorrow night when he gets back, apparently the thought of coming home to a nice meal was needed to keep him motivated throughout the weekend. So roast and apple crumble for pudding for tomorrow

haha, podds, he wouldn't be in uniform, although I think they make them wear a hi-viz vest. He is doing it through scouts and they don't make them wear their uniform for it. Can't imagine teenage boys giving food away! I remember when we picked him up last year after his bronze d of e there were a lot of other groups around the same area doing the same

chugs - sounds like a great day for Mr C's birthday

daffs - well done on the plastering - I would have no idea how to do it and would not end up with a flat wall

well, we haven't been called to collect son yet so he must be ok - and tonight isn't going to be as cold, but possibly wet. I am sure we will not be delighted to have him back tomorrow as he will be smelly, tired and grumpy!

feeling shattered today so doing very little, visiting the inlaws, wander around town and that is about it. Might even skip swimming and have a total rest day

working at it slowly

morning

up at 6 this morning to get eldest son packed off on his silver d of e training expedition in the peak district. Having one of those 'being a worried mother' moments - it is cold and wet and horrible and I want my little boy safe at home. But he isn't a little boy. And I have tried to hide my anxieties from him. He has gone now so I have until Monday at about 6pm to worry!

didn't sleep much so not spinning this morning but had better go swimming and stop worrying!

at least the house will be quiet as the remaining child won't argue with himself (I hope!!)
