It has been interesting to read these . I am 44 years old, run off and on and two years ago was told after having had a hysterectomay that I had oestoporsis. I have upped my calcium, ate more soya etc joined gym an ddone loads of weight bearing exercise. I then a coule of months later fell down my satirs and fractured my big toe. At hospital they did another scan and found that my bone density was 97.5% what it should be for a woamn of my age. It was the weight bearing exercise -running, walking etc that helped.
Depo Provera is very bad for you. I thought that they had stopped giving it out. From what I can remember it ups your blood pressure and makes you prone to strokes.
