funny to see such ignorance about depression being so brazenly displayed. You've totally outed yourselves as being shamefully clueless.

Adult learning to ride a bike

Do you mean she's never learnt - keeps trying and falling off or never learnt - never been on a bike?
I was in my twenties when I got my first bike and learnt to ride it. Ten minutes in an empty car park, saddle low enough to put my feet down. If she's tried scooting etc and is still struggling there are some very elegant ladies tricycles out there.

You were a knob when you were my manager, now I've been told the whole meeting went quiet when you were introduced to the project worker from the deaf assoc and you pretended you couldn't hear her. you stupid cow.

Suarez - punish or turn the other cheek?

Tyson bit off part of an ear, that Suarez hasn't is only by luck. If he bites other men in full view of millions because he is 'frustrated' then I'd be wondering what he thought it was ok to do in the privacy of his own home, because he felt frustrated.

40% tax is charity

40% tax is tax. it keeps MPs in jobs, soldiers in flak jackets and kids in schools. It has nothing to do with charity in any respect whatsoever. Except, as I have said, in your own mind.

I'm also pretty sure it has only the most tenuous link with the subject of this thread.

Just wanted to comment on the suggestion that the tax we pay has nothing to do with charity in any respect.  Some charities services are commissioned by either NHS or Local Authorities, and thus paid for by our taxes.

Alcohol in the UK

I did see this programme and the two girls who were talking about buying three trebles and then were shown being totally off their faces were frankly hilarious to watch.  and yet they had no idea where they were or what was happening, so frighteningly vulnerable.
