North Wales coast (up a hill well away from tidal surge) varying between windy and very windy with something that looked like sleet a little while ago.

You tried to drive your car at speed through a gap too small for it, you snagged on my son's car's bumper and dragged it off and now you are trying to claim you have whiplash!  You total arse.

40% tax is charity

40% tax is tax. it keeps MPs in jobs, soldiers in flak jackets and kids in schools. It has nothing to do with charity in any respect whatsoever. Except, as I have said, in your own mind.

I'm also pretty sure it has only the most tenuous link with the subject of this thread.

Just wanted to comment on the suggestion that the tax we pay has nothing to do with charity in any respect.  Some charities services are commissioned by either NHS or Local Authorities, and thus paid for by our taxes.

Alcohol in the UK

I did see this programme and the two girls who were talking about buying three trebles and then were shown being totally off their faces were frankly hilarious to watch.  and yet they had no idea where they were or what was happening, so frighteningly vulnerable.

I'm not much of a beer drinker these days. Can't handle the feeling of being bloated around the tummy. Only time I like one is after a long Sunday run on a hot day.

bloated round the tummy?  feeling a bit grumpy too?  irrational?   you've got all the symptoms.

well you seem to be implying she got well used, wasn't sexually attractive and not particularly adept at what she was doing.  and then you paid her to sit on your face.

My wife says it involves lots of fisting.

Can't speak for the other two but the first book doesn't.

Been there n done that . It's fun for a while, but you struggle to live a whole relationship based in D/s and BDSM.

I think Flob was refering to your comment being directly under a post about fisting.  the suggestion being if you'd just taken a fisting you might not be awfully comfortable running.  on the other hand (fnarr) it could mean you  were the fister rather than the fistee.  Flob you shouldn't jump to conclusions.
