Election 2015

Seren - why should some children have to take extra welsh lessons to get what other children in the next county get as part of their normal education. Why should parents have to opt to send their kids to welsh speaking schools that aren't their local school. Children that leave Welsh language schools are bilingual children who attend the English speaking schools aren't. If jobs require fluent Welsh one set of children aren't receiving the Welsh language education that is required. If the language is that important in Wales, and it is, then all children should be taught it to the same level.

In Wales i haven't seen any party proposing to do anything about the crazy situation of the Welsh language and how its creating inequality in the job market. You have some areas where all schooling is done through the medium of Welsh and the children leave school fluently bilingual and some areas where the kids get Welsh lessons up to GCSE and many leave barely managing the basics. Increasing numbers of jobs are now Welsh speaking essential. Thus a large proportion of young people leaving school in Wales aren't able to apply for jobs with LAs, Healthboards, 3rd sector and other major employers. Someone has to bite the bullet and make all education fully bilingual in all Welsh schools. None of the parties seem brave enough to tackle this.

Kenbro - i know an old lady who swallowed a fly, i don't know why she swallowed the fly... well she was probably a runner. Thats why i always carry my water bottle. Its easier than a spider, a bird, a cat, a dog, a goat, a cow and a horse.

Screama I'm sworn on the handbook not to divulge. They'll come round and rip my radiator badge off.

I have a certain type of van. We joined the owner's club so we could get discounts on parts etc. They have a special wave. I've never done it, and now when i see another van coming towards us i have a mild panic attack in case they do the wave and i have to pretend i haven't seen them. I might have to sell the van.
