Places to run in Notts

I think it tends to be that the bigger the charity the more they charge - It's a massive chunk of their income each year.  You need to look out for registration fees too as these are not refundable if you don't run or if you get in on the lottory.    Kidney Research ask for £30 reg fees and £1400.

WBM - most sponsorship is done online now with credit cards so there is no nead to chase up the money.

Let me know if you fancy a run somtime this week - I'm more of a morning runner though as I tend to lose motivation during the day lol

A golden bond is a place with a charity. I'm going to run for Kidney Research as a good friend of mine is on the transplant waiting list.

Hi LL, I'm really sorry to hear about your redundancy and I hope you find something else soon.  When ever I'm down about something there's a quote that I like to think of.

"Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose". Dr. Wayne Dyer

And do you know what?  It doesn't matter how pissed off you are or how gutted you are it's still true - you really do get to choose.

Lets go for a run soon eh?

Thinking of you

I totally agree Muzzy but I wasn't planning on running on Sat night nor on sitting in the pub all night and getting drunk; I just said I was hoping to go out.

I'm a fair weather runner and I have no problem with that.  I run for fun!  I love playing guitar, walking, watching films and having bar B Q's but I don't want to do any of then in the pouring rain.  Please note also that I said "severe weather warning" and  not "it may be spitting with rain".

Accoording to the Met office, Friday is the best day of the week so I am going out for a run in the morning.  Hopefully the weather will have improved a bit by Sun/Mon or Mon/Tues so we can do the Clumber thing then if anyone fancies that?

In the meantime if the weather is still crap then I'll be in  the gym enjoying keeping fit

It's my turn to be a party pooper  - there is a severe weather warning for Sat/Sun for the this area

I'd prefure Sat morning as it gives me the rest of the weekend and I'm hoping to go out in the evening so I won't feel like running on Sunday
