Hi, for the last 2 week or so I've had a truly stiff and often spasming right butt cheek. I've tried rest, gentle exercise, ice, tennis ball self massage, the lot. It's becoming a real problem in bed at night to the point that its extremely painful to turn from by back to my side etc. then for the first hour or so having woken up its extremely stiff and tender but then seems to nearly vanish to the point I can quite happily go to the gym and bang out 30 mins kn the cross trainer and then the treadmill without feeling any pain!
Im struggling to get my head around it and had considered a really good deep tissue massage buhat here local sports massage folk don't do deep tissue glutes work cos of the 'intimate' nature of the massage etc. it's becoming very frustrating now and I really could so wih sorting it out!! Anyone any constructive advice or been through a similar set of symptoms?
