Just sharing my excitement. I "ran" at parkrun on Saturday (very slow, 38:xx) and my foot has been pretty reasonable ever since. So that's good isn't it?

It's been blowing a bit down here, there's been a fair bit of windsurfing going on...not by me, might I add.

Seren, I'm bogged down in all the work work. I'll spend a bit of time tomorrow on my day off getting a bit straight with it all again.

Hope everyone is well and happy and all houses are still in good order after the storm.

I went to the podiatrist this morning (I met him at parkrun and he told me to do a self referral to the little hospital in Bognor to go and see him)...he has given me a tonne of exercises and will get some orthotics done. He said his aim is to see me running a parkrun again soon. Hurrah!

I haven't missed running for a long time but I really am starting to, so I am hopeful.

Hope everyone is well and happy.

Me too Mousie and I've only worked two days this week. Thank crunchie for having annual leave to use up, I will have at least one short week every month until the end of March.

I've sat on my bum the past two days watching Once Upon a Time. Sheer laziness but I cannot cope with anything else at this point in time, no room in my brain.

Have a happy weekend everyone.

Oh we've seen MP, even Funkin enjoyed it (& he doesn't really like musicals), I thought it was fabulous! I bet it's even better now, we saw it years ago. That sounds a lovely NYE

My weekend to work is New Year weekend (I'm meant to do the third weekend of every four in a rota)...which no doubt means I'm going to end up working Crimble. I'd really like to be able to do the Crimbo parkrun...if I am off, no doubt it will be dinner at Funkin Towers, as I can't exactly make D's mum do it post stem cell transplant. Not least 'cos she has the energy of a lettuce leaf, which isn't expected to get much better any time soon...I could be tempted to go the same way as you Schmunks!

Seen, we have a reject magazine here too (not me, I'm never doing another mara). Hope everyone is well and happy.

Challenge Wanaka is awesome - and Wanaka itself is lovely. Small race though, so you won't get the huge feel of IM but Lady Waff, I reckon D would like it in Wanaka. Lots of nice walks and the like.

I'm liking the Antipodean Pirate contingent. When will someone invent that pesky teleporter?

Jeez, Atom. Quite a return there. So glad it was easily remedied and thank goodness for the medical volunteers. Drastic diet though, eh?

Sounded similar to Funkin after he finished Wanaka, took 6 mugs of very hot soup and 7 blankies to warm him up and he was a proper dehydrated state too...he lost 9lbs in that race, so you're in good company  ;)

Love to you and Dis xx
