Ha! Winter running kit here is all in the shops. It's 90 degrees and they expect us to wear long arms and legs...hence why my new tops were in the clearance for "half off" as they say here, apparently it's no longer summer

We've just come back from a lu'au. There's a sentence you never thought you'd say...tomorrow morning I have a "race", so obviously I've eaten tonnes of new and never eaten before things (including taro, which is a deep purple).

Hope everyone is well and happy (funkin didn't get a vlm place either) xx

Heh, I'm pale and interesting. Or pale, anyway

happy house buying, Dave! Happy lodger interrogating, Melds! Happy crocheting Schmunks!

bit cooler today, only 88 instead of the 95 it was the last few days. I obviously must've sent those extra degrees to wales, Seren.

Right, time to wash the sand out of my cossie (don't ask!)

Excellent progress, FeFe, that script clearly was good and yes, after the last windsurfing injury, he banned himself..! He needs no more bad luck quite frankly. We went to the sailing club last night and one of his windsurfing pals asked when he will be back on the water. His response was October 17th (i.e. the day we get back!). I think he's missing it.

Right. Ironing beckons! Then need to make brownies for parkrun tomorrow...if I can find my m dot cookie cutter, I shall theme them.

Oddly enough, I was just looking at the Kapa FM FB page, Schmunks. It's pretty hairy over there at the moment. The IM finish line was under about 3 feet of water. Could make for an interesting race. Ah well, our condo is on the second floor, so all good *ahem*...! Currently they have a tsunami warning in place too. Given the past year, what could possibly go wrong?

Never could resist a sparkly medal, FeFe...even if it will take me 33% longer than I had hoped bling is bling, right?

Ha, FeFe, we waved guests off again yesterday...our last lot until after we are back from some far flung place or other. Sadly I cannot take advantage of the beautiful drying day as we currently have the men in to sort out the pebble/render/flashing...lots of dust about from cutting in lead, so no washing on line. Obviously I'd done two loads and had it out before I found out

I did parkrun on Saturday. My second slowest ever...but the calf held up and I "ran" the whole way at 12+ mins per mile, for a ridiculously slow time of 38:17. Never mind. I will get to 240 park runs done before we go away...then the countdown is on to the new tee shirt, hopefully should be in January (which was bad planning for a celebration really). I think it's green now...

On that note, I'm going back to the crash bang walloping...! Luckily am meeting a friend for lunch, so I will escape for a bit.

Oh no! Melds, that is beyond annoying. Hope it's easily rectified, what a pain.

FeFe, on our on call we are at end of phone ready to be called to attend a home birth (planned or non!) - if called, we literally get up and go. Which us partly why I never settle into proper sleep, I normally wake at least every 45 minutes to check I have not missed a call, which leads to a grumpy me the following day. It also means we can do nothing in the evening, unless it's within a few mins of hospital. Oh and don't get me started on owing hours if we aren't called...gggrrrrr...I'm going to try to try to sleep now. Home tomorrow thank goodness.

Currently tempted by hazlenut for the house but it may be a little too "fashion-y"...probably will just stay cream Mousie.

nit nit *zzzzzzzzz*
