Oooh thanks FeFe, I saw it advertised, I have a couple of days off this week, so will have a watch

Currently watching the gymnastics, after watching the sailing down at the sailing club. I do love the Limpets - but I'm not liking the commentators on a lot of the sports. My favourite moment was yesterday when Christine (gymnastics commentator) asked Beth Tweddle about her opinion on something and Beth replied, "Oh I don't know, I was watching something else"  hehe.

My "favourite" thing Mousie is that Little Stoke council are currently playing with £750k to encourage participation in the park

I think car parking charges are fair enough - but I'd bet that any venue that tries to charge parkrun will go the same way as LS, i.e. the event will end.

Oooh, hollibobs? Nice Meldy Moo, will Syb be there? I do love her, she's so effervescent! Have a super time.

I spent the evening last night putting in days annual leave...I have 6 weeks to use up and nothing to do, so I've divvied up the days so won't work a full month after August until April next year, so that's nice. I'm battling with the new job still, last week was good though I had three good days and one not too good...but I'll take 75% positive!

Besides that, not much going on at this end of the world. We are awaiting the date for Mummy Funkin to go into hospital for her stem cell transplant. Was meant to be this weekend but there are still four people ahead of her, so they've told her no chance.

Hope Outlaw was fun fun fun!

Busy busy bee at work in the scorchio, then to the chiropractor (deffo noticing an improvement), then to the beach for a barbie with a gang of pals for a few drinks, sossigs and memories of my Dad. It's 25 years today since he died, I'm ok, just was having a little remember down on the beach, thinking how he'd have liked it

Hope everyone is well and happy (and good news on not breaking that hip Limper!).

We have found somewhere to buy our favourite Hawaiian beers online 48 bottles of Longboard (Funkin) and 48 bottles of Big Wave (me) arrived yesterday. We are celebrating the scaffolding coming down with a beer and Le Tour catch up.

Happy marathoning Limper

Copper tape from the garden centre, I got 5m roll of adhesive tape to stick around my hosta pots for a fiver. You can also get copper surrounds for around ground planted plants (IYKWIM).

Do filter coffee grounds work like espresso grounds, Dave? I assume so...?

Thanks Limper, first day in ten days without analgesia yesterday. A bit sore this morning but so much better. Chiropractor on Monday...

Our bees are slow to arrive this year...in fairness the lavender has been slow too, which probably explains it. I'm about to try the copper tape around some pots as the slugworths are in full effect. Not sure if it will work but it's worth a go. Apparently.

Cor blimey. I've never had a baby and the only fracture I've had is my fibula...but I've had a trapped nerve in my neck for four days and I have never felt pain like it. Cripes alive. I was awake and sobbing at 3am. The weirdest thing is being unable to lift my head and the pins and needles. Also weird is how you relieve the pain in your shoulder and scapula, by lifting your arm and placing it palm side down on your head. Cor luv a duck.

Hope everyone is oki doki.

I was nearly washed away driving home from Worthing today! Yikes! Water on the roads was at the height of my wheel arches and the thunder and lightning was indeed very very frightening!

Few more !!!!!!!!!! for luck I reckon

Hope all well and happy (and the thunder has just started here now, double yikes!).
