Training for a shorter Tri

Glad went well EP... Rest those sore knees! Job well done.

Good to hear things improving Razor. Hurrah for another event!

Steady - how well could you swim before you started attending the Masters sessions? And that pound going back on is clearly water retention

Turboed before work. Worked, now off to bed as back in the bright and early

Ok, so you don't seem to realise that part of the joy of losing weight IS buying new kit... It's like a reward!

Perhaps people need to think outside of the 'Daily Mail' box. At my last triathlon there were ladies and gents of all shapes and sizes. Surely availability might actually encourage and make acceptable.

This is something I have always struggled with. Spent most of my time originally in men's sports clothing. Triathlon is even worse. It seems that anyone over a 16 can certainly not do sport. Many years ago it was a size 14 cut off. That was an XXL!

I manage to find bottoms now but still struggle with tops. My main problem is wetsuits. I have skinny arms and legs but big boobs. They cut off my breathing but hang off my legs and arms! Much fun

Blimey, it's all going on. DB - sounds like you struggled through it  Well done!

MC - sounds cool. Where will it appear?

Cake - that list appears fairly restrained for you

I had a pootle out to Cheltenham and back on the bike today. Was lovely. Got lost a couple of times but really didn't care. Went to visit a previous patient who had been really sick. She looks fab now
