I just wear a buff as a headband to keep my ears warm in winter. Anything else amd I get too warm. Keeps the sweat out of my eyes too.
Cant wait for this now just want cooler to train the longer distances
Agree 100 % with that Lee
Tried a little backward running when my calf goes tight after too much forward running but about 20 yards is enough. 20 miles would give all sorts of injury problems I guess
Check with the organisers, some even allow walkers, if you are on a run / walk strategy you can get round quicker than running very slowly so don't worry.
I use Karrimor from Sports Direct 2 in 1s as cant run in normal shorts without serious chaffing.
Good idea Redjeep though.
Also have some 2 in 1 shorts from Decathalon that provide good support from the inside pair.
I heard 5 taken to hospital. Hope they are OK now.
I'm for first time bit worried as its not the norm.
Been advised to wear oldest shoes I have then bin them
Will give this a go then if over wrong side of Pennines this weekend.
