How do speed settings on treadmills work?

Hi sorry to but on this conversation, but If I do speed session the treadmill at my gym

(km) I set it on 7.2 for 3mins then move it up to 11.5. How do I know what this is miles?

 

 

Views on the Garmin Forerunner 110

Can any help, my garmin 110, says that I'm running the first in double figures!!!. When I know I'm as my running buddy has his garmin we run at the same pace and his records us doing around 9.00 / 9.30. So why is this on my garmin 110? It's only the first mile.

I run 6 nights a week average between 28 to 32 miles a week.

Hello, how many miles a week do you need to cover to get a good time in a half marathon or to improve on prev time.

My Prev time was 1:54. would like to better this, how many nights running do I need to do and how many miles on these nights.

Thank you for if I run in the evening its about 7.30 / 8.00pm when I get home. I would eat a protein shake then a med nanna. Then more stretches an off for a shower. By the time I have done its about 9pm If I eat at this time I can't sleep an find I put on weight!!!. What is the best thing to do. As I can't stay up to late with being up at 5.30 am. So from your reply would you say chocolate milk is better witha a nanna

Hello all, Please can anyone advise what is best, Yazoo chocolate Milk and a nana or Whey Protein shake and a nana after a run?

I run six times a week an always have a protein shake & a nana after all my runs. Then later have a meal if not too late in the evening when i get home from a run.

Hi i would like some help on shift my last stone. I have lost 2.5 already. Regular runner but can't shift this last stone. I run 6 days a week eat healthy with the odd snack once a week i have a chocolate bar. I also been try to get rid of jelly thighs any advice anyone. I would like to loose this before end March?
