Ideal morning for race, dry and sunny with gentle breeze. Slightly slower than 2 years ago @ 1:52:12 for 12 miles (with a few inclines)

venison burgers and a beer in the sun afterwards and ceilidh dinner to follow later. Walk and brief swim this afternoon.

Ice bucket challenge: have been nominated but busy few days looming and I don't think I can be @rsed with all the palaver. Getting wet and cold is no big deal but videoing and posting on FB ... ?!

I've already started to "I don't want to see this" for countless others appearing on my FB page, most of whom I don't even know.

ba humbug

one of our secretaries actually passed out cold and had the nhs24 out - she made the mistake of v hot shower immediately following!!!
