Who owns Sweatshop ?

Posted: 04/01/2015 at 20:50

I've just been charged £2 to collect from a Sweatshop store; whilst it's not a lot of money it's also not my closest store as they now don't take deliveries.

Who owns Sweatshop ?

Over the last few months Sweatshop has seriously deteriorated; the selection of shoes has decreased, the sizes they stock has decreased, now they charge for delivery to store and I can't even arrange delivery to my local store!

Running in Tunisia

Posted: 06/10/2014 at 23:35

I visited Tunisia earlier this year and found that as a male runner running everywhere was safe (provided you watch out for traffic, snakes, wild dogs etc.). However, I would recommend that female runners stick to the beach / hotel complex as there were no lone females in any of the towns or villages.

Glad we paid the early bird rate, but even then it was expensive compared to other races! But the race is well organised and the goody bag is better than most races that cost less.

I did the race last year and it did not show on my profile last year. I was not happy with last years time so I never looked to see if I could claim the race for my profile.

Have you found the results for yesterday?

Can I run two marathons in one week?

Posted: 10/10/2012 at 00:28

I ran my first marathon a year ago and despite my training consisting of running 40+ miles per week I was in agony during the last 6 miles and as for stairs for the first few days afterwards it was backwards each time.

Also the fundraising will be tough, I only raised £1000 for my first marathon and this was with a sob story!

Like the others have said, do one and enjoy it!

Should I do Liverpool or Wilmslow half?

Posted: 17/03/2010 at 00:58
I've not been able to get a number for the Liverpool Half so If you decide to do the Liverpool half would your friend be willing to sell me their Wilmslow number? I live and work in Manchester so could pick it up / pay you.

I can also fill in for any cancellation and will reimburse your fee / make a £10 donation to a charity of your choice.

Thanks, Paul W
