You guys should all take a step back from this thread and have a serious look at what you are all trying to achieve.

Are you posting because you have no self control?

How old are you ?   Some very immature comments being made.  What's that all about?

As for you Maxwell house trying to  say that I threatened you because of the comments you made.  I just said pop in for a chat.   Talk about reading between the lines.     Having said that   I'd like to invite you to BBleys  so  I can kick you backside around our mile course then i'd offer you the chance to go three rounds ( with gloves ) against a top local Boxer.

and you Philip  you silly sausage I expected better from you.     You could have said something about my brothers remarkable achievements  but you'd rather hint to others on this thread that  my manor is a rough area where people burn motor cars.

That happened over 25 years ago.   ( Mainly from people coming in outside the area.)

Then you say you are going to London.    What about all the rioting that went on all over London?  Cars burning... buildings ablaze... people murdered...

we never saw any of that on Beautiful Blackbird leys.

There are people posting on here from Hampshire . I'm sure a lot of rough stuff goes on in Southampton but you won't find posting that fact just because someone mentions they come  from that part of the world.

Now please enjoy your April .   Be happy. smile and say something nice.

You sound like a snob Philip.  M Jones

I doubt if you have ever set foot on Blackbird leys so you would have no understanding of what life our children live or  what they are  capable of.   Maybe you'd like an entry so you could find out for yourself ?

Samir get over to Oxford for June 6th and you can take part in the Blackbird leys mile.

I 'm sure I can get you an elite entry  ( you'd be a  good pacer for some of our faster youngsters)

Samir,    Cheers for that.  My brother was a sub 31 minute 10k runner back in the day

but has only recently started again.

I wanted to be there also but work needed to be done on my allotment. We'll have to meet up at another local race as I reckon between myself and my brother we'd be able to help you on the road to Rio.

Well done everyone who ran this weekend.

To  everyone else on this thread  I'd like to say Keep up the good work.  You  have all put in some  amazing efforts over the past month.  The big one is coming up soon .   I'm expecting some cracking posts this week. Don't let me down folks

I'm in the same boat as you mr f.

Been suffering since crashing my push-bike  before Christmas  so did the sensible thing yesterday and withdrew from this race for this year.( Well gutted.)

Not too worry though, plenty more races for me in the future once I'm healthy enough.

This time I'll have to settle for helping out at check-point Radley , 95 miles mark.

Look forward to seeing you all there.
