Rats

I have wondered about the sticky pads.

Dealing with an angry rat in a cage is bad enough - how do you deal with an angry rat with it's feet stuck down?

It's not just the feet. Usually it's just 1 foot first. It'll then try and lick it's foot free, so the head and neck gets stuck then it'll try and use it's other feet to free itself. Very, very messy.

If gin traps are ilegal I'm suprised these are. IMHO they are just as bad, if not worse.

the sticky pads lol ( I know I shouldn't lol)

When I had a bar in Greece, we used those sticky pad things to get rid of cockroaches and mice. When we caught mice we would turn the sticky pads into boats and sail the mice off on the sea

when we were kids our neighbour called the pest control round as she said we had rats under our chicken coop. He couldn't use poison, so he sat there with an air rifle, and sat, and sat ................... then pop .......... the rat was no more.

linky thing

In our garage at work we lay down poison. Unfortunately, poison is indiscriminate and poison is what it is, it got a glis glis. Poor little thing.

gliss gliss are a major problem around here and are protected so the only thing you can do is scare them off.

But, if it's rats you've seen, rats it is!

very carefully placed poison?

Tenby is good but for me you can't beat Rhosili for an activities based British holiday. Took my youngest and his cousin last year, walking, climbing, caving, sailing, canoing, speed boating but at the end of every day it was down to Rhosili beach for the surfing.

great pub where this photo was taken from

Unattached vs Club

Interesting thread title

I never really thought of it as taking sides.

I've been a member of a club sometimes a second claim club too and trained at a third club of which I wasn't a member. It's all down to what nedds be

Currently I'm not competieing so am not a member of a club. I might choose to compete in the future which means I'll have to join a club again. But until such time I won't. There's no need.

As for taking sides, I don't think so.
