Longest Day (Ironman) 2004 - Carl's thread

In his defence, I k ow he went back to work on Wednesday and has been mega busy there, then he was busy this weekend, and he is still suffering from jet-lag

He keeps mentioning that he needs to do his race report so it will get done.

Hello all

Fab news Seren.  Am very very jealous

I appear to have caught Barlos' jet-lag. Had to take half-day annual leave to catch up on sleep

In other news, Fatz is snoring. Loudly

South Wales is good for me so I am definitely interested in the Social.  Not sure about the swimming/track cycling though

Can I start a list?

What happened to Mr I's thread

In my opinion, a thread like that would draw a certain individual in.  It would be the flame to her moth.  And I guess RW Towers can do without the hassle

*drums fingers on desk.

How do you know if fins are too tight?

SC - do you put them on when they and your feet are dry?  I find mine go on easier if I put them on underwater

Pardon, Dear.  You'll have to speak up.

ETA - that was to Dave

Nob off when I'm drinking my Horlicks, Dave..  Lovely peridot necklace on there earlier  I love antique jewellery.

MrsF - he put a lot of thought into it (for him; learnt about the flower and the choice of stone in it) and apparently hobbled to the jewellers on the Monday after the race to buy it.  Gawd bless him.

Oh yeah; whoever commented on his sunburn.  He got burned quite badly during the race.  It even went through his trisuit and he has sunburnt patches on his hips and back.

A cheaper alternative to Bodyglide

That isn't water-soluble and won't affect the wettie
