LowRez I got a 3.37 at Chester last year for a C and was Overtaken by all and sundry after about a mile so not to fussed about qualifier. Fantastic your collecting for charity at Chester I hope you do well  it's so well supported you should. Running langdale at the weekend will be walking the mini inchanger at mile 1

Yes Lowrez it's a back to back for me.I thought I wouldn't but about 5 seconds after receiving the medal my mind was made up,though Mrs ringo wanted to burn my passport. Not running as a fast as last year as chasing the 100. Hoping to get an ice qualifier at speedy Cheste.if not then Abingdon and my Alamo marathon is Manchester.

Sounds brilliant fido2dogs getting a taxi after the up took nearly as long to run it! Those downs sound wonderful as does some cooler weather I think I drank my own bodyweight in powerade

That second lap on the Greenway is mental torture! it goes on for ever. I had a duff race 3.37 last year murdered the greenway, this year like pulling a tractor through quicksand.Looking forward to 2016.

Hi Heidi have to echo what HeatherS says. Its a great marathon route really good for PB hunters. I have ran it several times and each year it keeps getting better and better. The race organisers Chris and Andy are super guys and have worked hard to make this a good one. I run about 20-30 marathons a year and this for me is a must do.

Abingdon Marthon v Yorshire Marathon

Abingdon is fast but its windy and bendy on a multitude of surfaces. If you could do an earlier one look at Manchester in April its the fastest one out there or Chester in October is fast and fantastically organised.
