Yeah, I had reservations too about a new race too but they seem to have pulled off a few well organised shorter races so far. Furthermore, the one way to guarantee that a new race doesn't make it to the second year is if no one signs up.
As for the logistics; I assume that they are the doing the 35 & 65 events in order to get more entries so that they can afford to hold the 100. 100s are expensive and people usually want reassurances (especially after things like saxon shore). Either way, all things going to plan I'll post a review in Sept.
I agree with the consensus about Centurion. Exceptionally well-organised.. Great for a first time.
