Great threshold Matt and good to see you racing again Scott
I did 60 min threshold average HR came out bang in middle of the range at 157 ave pace 5.41 (I went through 10 miles in 56.54) but I did on roads and no where near as bumpy as Matts effort but I am nearly 20 years older

I've entered a HM on the 15th but unfortunately I doubt I'll be easing off for it as first major target approaching on 8 March!

Yesterday's first HM since 1983 didn't go to plan snow overnight but race website and FB page said race on go there 9.30 couple of K run to loosen legs but didn't like the icy conditions race due to start at 11 at 10 told start delayed 45 mins!! Then at about 11.10 race called off
I then decided to run course by myself to see how bad it was so off I set in a pair if leggings, 2 tops and normal trainers
2 mile in sharp bend and ice was treacherous and then the realisation that the right decision had been made by that corner alone!
Ran around in just under 82 mins so good workout but very disappointed !!
