Helloooo everyone

I did London in 5.46 which was just 7 mins slower than Brighton the week before I'm happy with that for now.

Did Windermere last weekend which I really didn't enjoy - as soon as you came down one hill, the next one started. I managed 6.11 which I am ok with too bearing in mind how hard it was.

God Kent Road Runner on Saturday. Not sure how that will go at the moment

Hello everyone

I'm doing Brighton Aizxana

Not a hope of going sub5 at the moment as I'm still struggling getting back to full fitness. Its taking so long

This week, I have been so tired and short-tempered this week. I've never been like this in the run up to a marathon but I've been assured by others that this is typical of taper madness lol!

Not been on for a bit

Hello people I've not seen before

And hello everyone else Nice to see you again KP

Training for Brighton and London under way. I am still very slow though. I'm still carrying extra weight that doesn't seem to want to come off. That's quite hard on my knees. I did 10m on Sunday and will be out doing 12m this weekend. It's going to be a case of plugging in my music and slogging it out lol!

I'm tracking the mileage on mine too Tracey.......... if I don't, I get terrible knee pains and also Achilles problems if they get too old

2 weeks to Yorkshire and Abingdon too Tracey

I've known people finish outside the 5 hour cut off before at Abingdon AT so unless they have tightened it up, I reckon you should be ok. Mind you, go for 5 hours anyway

No more long runs!!!!! You should be tapering towards the big day now. Just concentrate on keeping your legs moving and staying injury free. With two weeks to go, there isn't much point in speed work either as you won't get that much benefit and tbh I get worried about injury so I am ultra cautious lol!

Which one are you doing on the 20th?
