Hi

Has anyone ever been to profeet in London?

I keep getting the same injury in my shin and think it would be worth considering custom made insoles.

Has anyone ever tried them who could give me their feedback?

Thanks

Hi

Can anyone recommend anywhere in London where I can get a pair of orthotics?

I have heard that profeet and fitter feet are both good.

Thanks

POSE Method of running?

Thanks NRG

No - you haven't met me before, i'm new to this forum and the pose technique so am grateful for all the advice.

Tried my first run in pose style and think I did too much too soon, my calves have been quite sore over the last couple of days! i think i'll just stick to the test runs over the next few days.

Will keep you posted with how I get on.

Thanks

POSE Method of running?

Hello

I have just started to learn the pose technique and have been practising the drills for about a week.

Can you tell me how far you would suggest running when I start practising this new technique and how long it takes to adapt?

I've also been looking for new trainers, is there any you would suggest and where I can find them?

Many thanks!

Thanks limper.

I went to a running shop at Christmas and they fitted me with a pair of trainers to reduce overpronation. However, the pain is gradually coming back even though I have only started doing a few short runs a week.

I went back to the shop yesterday and they recommended going back today to watch me run in my trainers as they said I may need some shock absorbing insoles.

Has anyone found these to be helpful?

Hiya

I've had shin splints for a good few months now and every time I get back into running they seem to come back.

Does anyone know if those compression socks help?

I would also like to try deep tissue massage but was wondering whether this is available on the nhs?

Any suggestions would be really appreciated as the pain has stopped me running for months now and I just want to get back into it.

Thanks

Does anyone know if calf supports are any good for shin pain? They're supposed to help relieve shin pain but wanted some opinions on whether anyone recommends using them or not?

Thanks
