Adidas Supernova Sequence 4

Overall: I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Asics Kayanos and they are cheaper but I also feel a lot more stable in them. They are not as clumpy as they look. It says here that they are for the larger runner which I am not, I just need the support.

Overall: I like the Kayanos, they do everything that I need them to do. Unfortunatley I cannot see that there is a vast difference between the 16's and the 15's. Where as you could really notice the difference between the 14's and the 15's. When I need to replace my 15's I wanted to try the 16's but now I have I would say that if you find the 15's at a good price then go for them as there really seems to be little difference.

Asics Gel Kayano 14

Overall: This was my first experience of an Asics as I was having problems with the narrowness of the toe box on my old trainers and was advised to try these. They felt really comfortable from the start and noticeably lighter than my previous trainers. This does not seem to effect the stability of the trainer although it feels like it does, as I am so used to having such a heavy trainer. I was worried about the feel of not having enough cushioning under the forefoot but have had no adverse effects from that but feel they could benefit from just a little more. I tend to wear the heel away pretty quickly normally but the Asics are definatley more generous with the outersole than most. On the whole would definately go for an Asics again. The only negative is the price. They were the most expensive option but I had such problems with my others I would have paid anything to keep running. That said, these days we could do with all the help financialy that we can get and they are definatley pricing the local shops out of the market by forcing consumers to shop around on the internet for bargains.

Overall: Great Value for money and remains comfortable and supportive for the mileage that I do which is no more than 6 miles. Any longer and i feel you would need to look at better cushioning
