Oh dear - only saw this on Monday myself!  Could have offered a lift from the Frome area!  Think I spoke to you at the start, you run to Avebury and back on the Saturday?

Good run by the way - a good 29 mins ahead of me!  Just missed the sub 5 hour - the climb up to the Ridgeway did it for me and left too much to do on the last section.

Hello All - not long left to go.  Weather looks normal!  By normal I mean no idea what it will be like!

Couple of days rain forecast, hopefully light so it can dry up before Sunday ...

See you all there.

Track me!

Real Time GPS Tracker is a good app on Andriod, can be remotely turned on so you do not have to have your phone on and tracking all the time so saves battery life.

I got it for the same reason so my wife can check where I am on a run for support or if she is worried ...

The no refunds T&C came after entry for me, attached to an email .... not certain that is a fair and clear way of doing it ...

£30 is £30, but more about the principle of no communication other than a note on the website, that slowly slipped off the webpage, until now it is gone.

Just emailed them again to see if they have any updates ... will not hold my breath!

Exe to Axe 20 miler

Blakester - will let you know on Monday!  Did the Exe to Axe a few years back, and really enjoyed it, loved the hills - Branscombe sticks in my mind!

Doing the Grizzly on Sunday so will let you know!

TBH - for the price and the crowds would rather do Exe to Axe, but cannot this year due to other races so went for the Grizzly. That is speaking before the run, so I may change my view!

Andriod users can use Real Time GPS tracker.  I use it for some of my longer runs so that my wife knows where I am.  She can turn it on remotely and as long as there is signal and GPS signal can see where I am.  Password only access so as secure as it can be I suppose, I have the phone to call if I need it, but if someone wants to know where I am on a race - if they are supporting me at a certain point then useful.

Well done, keep it up - 2H08 is a great first time half.  The time will drop as you keep on running and the weight comes off.

Well done!
