Sorry for the late reply Boff - been busy moving home. Running has also taken a back seat though unfortunately. Back in work today so back to routine.

Hope everyone is well.

Thanks for advice Boff. I train alone but Mrs RK is really supportive and doesn't mind me taking time to train.

Out again tonight.

My running has been pretty static over the past few years Boff. I tend to run (plod) 3 times a week and no more than 3 or 4miles each time generally.

My thinking of entering a 10k is that it will get my weekly mileage up to 20+

Yes, you are certainly right to be thankful of what you've got!

Boff - being a big lad, just getting my timber around the course is enough for me. You've done amazing to come back from your injury and run well!

Seren - I couldn't imagine staying awake for 24 hours let alone running for it!

Brushing your teeth after running?

After a run I get a desire to brush my teeth (they feel 'furry'). I assume this is due to a dry mouth?

Do you get this as well or am I just odd?

Thanks Boff, getting through it.

Still managing a few runs on the way as well. Swansea 10k is 15 weeks away so quite chilled about that.

Hope everyone is doing well.

As Seren said Llanelli Marathon (Great Welsh Marathon). Coastal so nice and cool in April. Only a few hundred runners.

2 lap flat course.

Keeping sweat out of your eyes

Or try a visor like tri athletes wear. The band of this will absorb the sweat.
