Swansea Harriers Seaside 5K Series - Race 2

Posted: 24/02/2015 at 07:24
Morning. Cardiff bound today.

Hope everyone is well. Hoping it stays dry for my run tonight. Only 30.2 miles done last week so looking for a better week this week.

Did you win a race on the weekend NR - if so congratulations - bet it's nice to be back?

Well done Alex who also got a third.

Glad your running is going well too Seren.

I even went out for a run in the rain last night despite having a heavy cold. My nose was running faster than I was!

Rest day today.

Off to Newport then Cardiff.

So after 4.5 years it seems as if I'm the last man standing and this thread has run it's course.

If anyone does check back in thanks for all your company and advice over the years and good luck with your running and life in general.

Nice to have him local Seren and Swansea is a great Uni.

Yes weekend was great thanks NR.

Running is going really well and I've seemed to conquer my lack of consistency. Managing at least 3 runs a week every week. Running / walking up to 40 miles a week at the moment (that includes walking to the station etc.) so a fair bit of 'movement'. Helping the weight loss today.

How is your running? When is your first race this year?

It will be the gym again for me tonight.

Thanks NR - having the gym membership helps as whilst the dread mill can be boring I'd rather run for 30mins on that than in this icy cold weather. I usually try and watch a TV Programme like Eggheads!
