Currently working in Leeds, so look forward to seeing you for the Leed-Barnsley leg. Whether I can join you in the run is up in the air at the moment, but one way or another I'll be there

Mersey Tunnel 10K / 10th June

Alan - still not running, so still never done this race, but just read back to start of this thread, and the question about the 'old' tunnel.

I ran through the Queensway tunnel in the mid-90's - probably 94 for the 60th anniversary of opening. Started on St John's Lane up to Lime St, down William Brown St and into tunnel. Can't remember much about route thru Birkenhead apart from sharp left exit from tunnel, down onto prom, and long drag to finish at New Brighton.

May be back running before end of year, so see you in December

B & L - the official name was the RunLiverpool Marathon.

Agree that most people, especiall non-runners,  called it the Liverpool Marathon, or even the Mersey Marathon - especially those of us old enough to have done that in the 80's

Alan - are you getting the Batala Band back for the Santa Dash? They were sadly missed last year.

Well done on putting on a great first marathon

Combination of injury & work commitments meant I couldn't make it this year, but looking forward to next year. Sounds like a good time was had by all.

Paul - as mentioned above, work commitments have made it impossible for me to run with you. In fact, made it impossible to run at all !

Working at weekends as well, so last 3 weeks mileages have been 0, 0 and 0.

Gutted not to be able to join you, but gr8 efforts all round, and good luck for the final few legs

I too had to pay £1.19 to collect the entry form from the post office (I ran it 2 years ago). Organisers should have folded entry form and put it in a smaller envelope instead of a large one.

I've a mind to send off my entry with the £1.19 knocked off my entry fee
