used to run in Saucony Omni range but when the Omni 10 came out it was a much narrower fit and was no good for me, my omni 7 had well over 1000 miles on them before I bought the 10's

interestingly the omni range have a lot of support,  the wave nexus have much less and the wave rider is neutral with a lot of cushioning,

just treated myself to some new road shoes as my current ones have done over 1300 miles, thought I would get a pair of trial shoes while I was there, so good to go

are you doing it ET?

Decided it is time to retire my wave nexus shoes after 1300 miles, so just got back from up and running one of my favourite shops, Phill who runs the shop is so good, very helpful and really knows his stuff, he is a runner with a marathon PB of 2.24.

bought a pair of Mizuno wave rider road and some Mizuno wave Hayate trail shoes,

thought my old ones were still in good shape till I put on the new ones, sooooo nice, can not wait to get out later

MF not really sure if you walk, jog, or have time for a cup of tea in between the stages,

I hope to jog/walk and get going again straight away, not good at stopping and starting,     don't like trail running, still trying to work out why I am doing this

Budapest looks fantastic Shades, I take it you will still be at Chester

good 5 mile last night did not get out till 8pm and really enjoyed it, think my running mojo is back

Glad to here you are feeling better Shades and sorry you could not run the race.

been for a swim this morning with the OH, not been for a long time and quite enjoyed it, my Fenix2 worked well also

just entered the round sheffield run on the 28th June, strange for me as I do not like of road running,  it is a 20k run split into 11 timed stages from 3.5k to 0.8k thinking it should be fun.   a good mix of very tough and easy stages

just used busses instead of putting up a big tent i suppose , I think the problem was that the helpers took the bags from the runners and put them on the bus, when they got back it was like a needle in a haystack so to speak   they ended up unloading the bags and shouting out numbers.

the only way with that method is to let the runners put the bag on the bus so they know were to retrieve it from
