About me:I have been running off and on since 1981 when after watching the first London Marathon my Dad promised me £20 if I ran every day for a month. To be honest my running was mostly off for the next decade until I reached my early 20s - and it's been 'on' ever since. I am Section Editor at Runner's World and write the Murphy's Lore column. I'm also the magazine's resident coach (Level 2 Endurance Coach) and have written 4 books on running. I have completed 16 marathons and run Rye Runners with my husband Jeff Pyrah
