sarah dya - can i just add , a lot of people dont enjoy running especially the first ten minutes ,your not alone, ive completed marathons and still hate the start of any run , but stick with it ,, go slow ,, take your time ,take a walking break,,  pace is irrelevant

im glad i stuck with it and never came on here seeking "support " from some forum members when i first started , i felt like a fraud ,, i hated running ,, if i had ,,, gone away,,,  as others have suggested you do ,,id have missed so much ,, been overweight and unhappy

stick with it

RR - nice of you to decloak ,, tell us about yourself ,,  , have you completed any interesting races this year ? is this your first 10km ,, do you have accommodation sorted yet , it gets pretty busy up there

macperky - its my intention to listen to your breathing as long as i can manage ,, probably the first hundred metres, until you disappear, after that itll be a selection of show tunes until i go insane ,, probably another hundred metres

Banana feet - you do realise near the end of the marathon , once the hallucinations start your running shoes might start to look very tasty to a ravenous pack of runners ,, how fast can you sprint ?
Oh , welcome and thanks for decloaking

Sheesh - that sounds a tough run, doing a half marathon race then running afterwards is bloody tough

AndyRuns - did you make it out and back. ? Hello are you there ?

Runner down ,,, I repeat runner down

After doing my back in on Thursday , along with my pathetic training so far I was on the verge of giving up Loch Ness this year , today's LSR might've convinced me to at least start
