Which Running pushchair to buy????

I was using a BabyJogger II. Great buggy for running with the Little One. A really good buggy but couldn't be used in Town though. Would just fit into the back of our Mazda 3 so definitely nothing smaller.

However, the Little One is now not so little anymore (just turned 5).

Will be getting rid of mine in Spring.

2 marathons in consecutive weekends is fine if you are not racing them!

Ran 4 in 4 days over last weekend and have 2 next weekend.

26.85 miles on my Polar for the marathon/42k.

The 25 miler marker was spot on too. Didn't see a 26 mile marker but that final bit was "long".

Really good event and an excellent route.

I'll be in lightweight road shoes.

40% road sounds good to me, but looking forward to being off road too!

Rutland Water Marathon

Yes, there is a Best Western near the start line. The rear of the Hotel looks out over Rutland Water. You will have a shorter walk to the start line providing that there is no need to register before the start (which is at the finish line and the opposite way to the start line!). IIRC we didn't need to register on the day last year but did the previous year!

The course "rolls" but is far from hilly!

+1 on what Joolska said

Sounds like you haven't got a great aerobic base. Google "base training". 2 to 3 months of base training should solve the problem. At times you do need to run slower to run faster. Also Google "HADD running" and download the pdf document and give that a read.
