My goal is a half marathon in 4.5 months. I know I can do the distance, two years ago I did it in 2h35 min with moderate training 3 times a week, occasionally only 1 or 2)
Is it realistic to want to do a time under 2h10 ( i.e. an average of 5.7 min/km) with dedicated speed and strength training and three runs a week? Any ideas, thoughts?
I would think it is quite easily possible with that preparation.
6 min/km will bring you in under 2:10, 5.7 min/km would be aiming for 2 hours.
