Well I think so

breakfast - Greek yoghurt, couple tbls extra thick cream and a good portion of my own granola.

lunch - half avocado. Scrambled egg with 2 eggs cooked in butter 1 piece ham, handful mozzarella and some green pepper

Dinner- chicken fillets cooked with various spices, spinach, yoghurt and extra thick cream with broccoli and asparagus with butter on top. 

Snacks - 2 squares 90% choco. 1 pecan fat bomb and more yoghurt and granola

Martina slajarevo (sp) from has a new book out called fat bombs and I think there are some you can take out with you i.e. don't need to keep in the fridge/freezer. Fat bombs are really tasty

Duda you obviously got back to fat  burning mode pretty well. What do your numbers look like on the breath meter?

Good on you mallowpuff. Funnily enough your salad actually sounds much more delicious than the other food keep at it

They're great fun and the camaraderie between triathletes is much more than any running event. You should find out where the Pirate ship is sailing next year. And you're doing a sub 2hr marathon at Outlaw next year

289 days to go apparently

Seren - 5 week stay. Wow, that sounds fabulous. Where in all of that does comrades happen.

I'm trying to decide whether to stay out there and do something but not sure what yet

Running legs appear to be working ok but just done a barre concept class at the gym and not sure they're going to work for tomorrows long run

HC - are you talking about cashews and dried apricots for fuel whilst running? If not they're both terribly high in carbs for a snack

Lea - are you sure it wasn't lack of salt making you stagger about and feel awful. Duda suggested that to me a few weeks back and when I thought about it I realised I'd had no salt the day before and with nothing processed, no added salt either. Just a thought.

Im not eating junk (chips sometimes when we go out and wine) but I don't feel so full that I want to skip any meals. I do think I'm eating enough fat. Too much and i need the toilet but i do get hungry late afternoon

Also in races I think even a lot of the low carbers take on carbs because they're accessed differently. I did a fasted 17 mile run last week which was ok but hot. Just took water and bought some more half a mile from home but I'm also trying to work out what to take on a long run when I want to put a bit of effort in. I think Iain Love or someone said bran syrup in a race? Will have to look that up.

I also wish there was a light bulk moment that said "you're fat adapted no"

HC - keep going. Next one will be better

Road to nowhere - you could try making several different low carb treats to keep at hand in your fridge, then if you're hungry you'll at least have a healthy snack. Some ice cream if you like that and fat bombs
