Fleetwood Half Marathon

This race had it all. Rain, wind & sun....just missing last year's and blasting :0) The marshals were great & stayed in place even when it was peeing down. Bottled water & medal were fantastic. Many thanks

Hi Folks. Have done this one a few times. Very good for PBs & the sandblasting last year seemed to spur a lot of us on to good times :0) You have the sea on your right on the way out & mainly down roads on the way back. Great for marathon season prep too

Well done on 19th place Robert (StDomingo). That is impressive. Just need to improve by 8 mins & 7 secs now to win it :0) Some of us were 7 mins+ slower than for other 10Ks

Hi Mark. Great event with some surprising up & down bits :0) love the over sized medal too. Suspect a few of us went home with our timing chips still on our shoes. Do you need them back & if so....what address do you need them sent to. Many thanks . David

Well done to the organisers & marshalls at this event. Plenty of water on the way around and 22 secs under 2 hours. Bet other people thought why are those folks walking through the water....I'l just run past them....and starting walking with then after about 6 steps. Felt really good running after the wadding. The harder ridged sand dunes bits were a little hard on the toes....but....what a great race and even showers in a cubicle afterwards...class :0). PS Yep...that guy with the fishing net was at the start & the finish...with a running number on

Hi Tim. I went past Matt at 2hrs & 4 mins. There were 2 paramedics gving it everything with CPR. One said Matt seemed to be full of fluid. He had 4 pads connected to his tummy & chest. Devastated for you and your family. We think about you everyday and think it was a great tribute to finish the race in Matt's memory. Let me know if there is anything we can do to help out or support anything you want to do. Best wishes. David & Jan x
