Yup my Garmin clocked the full marathon at 27.01 miles - anyone else think it was long?

Really well organised event, fantastic marshalls, lovely course. Well done to all concerned, a lot of hard work went into organising it so pat yourselves on the back. I did 3:53, felt great first half of the marathon, didn't enjoy the second half which was really hard work. The finish line was very welcome!

Runnaholic - I got my race 'pack' yesterday but to be honest it's not worth waiting for, the only extra info it gives you is the address of where to turn up.
I had a note with it saying that the course map is still being prepared (!) and will be available on the day - not much use for runners like me who like to prepare by knowing exactly where I'm going beforehand (it';s part of my preparation.
Also, I have family and friends who are asking where they can see me along the way - no idea folks! I don't really want to be worrying about letting them know just before I start a marathon!
Doesn't show a lot of understanding of how a runners mind works to be honest...

When is the race route for 42km going to be published - it would be good to see where I'm running?! Also, when are instructions being posted out? Cheers.

I have registered for the 42km run but am struggling to find details of the route - can anyone help please? I have the OS map and want to plot it but can't seem to find it!!

Also, what time does the race start and are we going to be sent a pack/number beforehand?

 Thanks, looking forward to it.

What's going on with the Hellrunner website?

Can't seem to get into it.

Where can we get to see the photos?

Yes the Hellrunner is great fun - very dirty, very wet, some juicy hills in parts and about 11 miles.

Much better than the Grim if you've ever done that.

I'd recommend Hellrunner - I'm already down for it!
